The Fleet Feet Sports Soldier Field 10 Mile Post-Race Tailgate will be held on the Stadium Green outside of Soldier Field immediately following the race from 8:30am-11:30am. Participants of the Fleet Feet Sports Soldier Field 10 Mile will be rewarded after your finish at the 50-yard line with a Memorial Day themed finisher medal presented to you on the field by active servicemen and women.Īll registered participants will receive a camo-patterned technical tank! Specific guidance will be provided to participants closer to the event.How Will You Remember Memorial Day Weekend?Īs you exercise your freedom to run and to enjoy life you can remember the thousands of brave men and women who gave 'the last full measure of devotion' in defense of that right to live free and enjoy the blessings of liberty in the shadow of the stadium constructed to memorialize their sacrifice for the ideals upon which our country was founded. Those who are not able to participate due to COVID-19 restrictions on the number of participants allowed will receive a full refund.īased on other mass gathering restrictions in place in September, participants may be required to wear face coverings, observe social distancing, and follow additional public health guidelines as outlined by the Governor of Virginia and the CDC.We will use the participant's registration date to determine eligibility.
If requirements on the format of the start mandate the use of waves for social distancing, we may be forced to limit the size of the field to fewer than the number who have previously registered. There is the possibility that some restrictions on the format of the race, especially the start, may still be necessary to allow social distancing.
